Our ministry remains committed to connecting end users of our irrigation infrastructure and lowlands development projects to active markets through various programs and climate-resilient irrigation initiatives. Building on the success of LLRP 1, we are excited to further our engagement in LLRP 2, focusing on implementing innovative and impactful projects in the lowlands. The Sustainable Small-Scale Irrigation (SSI) project will be spearheaded by the private sector, with continued collaboration from both IFAD and Heifer. Our engagement with IFAD also includes the groundbreaking Climate Resilient Irrigation for Sustainable Production (CRISP) initiative, supporting the co-financing efforts with the World Bank and EIB. Additionally, IFAD will support and take an important role in our Ministry's anticipated National Irrigation Conference which is set to take place in November 2024. We deeply appreciate our partners’ ongoing support and look forward to fruitful collaborations that will advance these initiatives.
